Frequently Asked Questions

-
DO I HAVE TO PAY THE $40 DUES FEE?
Yes, in order to be considered a member of RSNA, membership dues must be paid in full. While we do understand that money is a sensitive issue, membership dues are used to fund conferences, scholarships, graduation cords, and other NSNA activities.
Please visit www.nsna.org to learn more about NSNA membership dues.
-
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE A CORD AT GRADUATION?
You must earn at least 20 volunteer credits and attend a minimum of 8 member meetings during your time at Rasmussen. These requirements must be met within one month prior to your graduation date. Our Community Events Director will keep track of membership credits. Please contact rsnaevents@gmail.com with any discrepancies.
-
IF MY NSNA MEMBERSHIP EXPIRES BEFORE MY GRADUATION DATE, AM I STILL ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A CORD?
No, NSNA national bylaws state that you must be a current member in order to receive any benefits provided by RSNA. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.
-
I WAS INVOLVED IN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES BUT DID NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AT THE TIME OF THE EVENT. DO I STILL RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THOSE EVENTS?
Yes, you will still receive credit for those volunteer events, however, your membership card must be up to date before the time of graduation in order to receive your cords.
